NLA Conference 2020: Emir Of Kano, HRH Alhaji Sanusi Lamido, Receives NLA National Team At His Palace

In continuation of preparations for the 2020 National conference of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA) slated to take place in July of 2020 in Kano State, the National EXCO led by the President, Prof. Innocent l. Ekoja and Members of the LOC paid a courtesy call to the Emir at his palace on Thursday 20th of February, 2020

The President in his well-crafted speech thanked HRH, the Emir of Kano for sending a delegation to our 2019 Annual General Conference (DELTA 2019) at Warri.

Prof Ekoja also pours encomium on the Emir because of the robust collection of books organized beautifully everywhere in his palace.

He concluded by inviting His Highness as the Royal Father of the day during the opening ceremony of the conference.

HRH, the Emir of Kano who personally hosted the NLA team in his glamorous, fascinating and super finished/attractive palace welcomed the President and his team with joy. He promised to ensure that NLA will have a wonderful conference come July this year.

In the company of the President for this historic visit was: Dr. (Mrs) O.  Princess  Nwafor-Orizu (NLA Vice President), Dr. Umunna Opara ( IPP), Dr Abdulkadir Idris (NLA National Financial Secretary), Miss Omoh Aisenokhai (NLA National Secretary), Dr.  Ogochukwu T.  Emiri ( NLA National PRO), Dr. Danladi Bala (Chairman LOC/Kano Chapter), Mr Ubale Ibrahim (Financial Secretary, Kano Chapter), Mr Nazir Mohammed (PRO,  kano Chapter), Hajia Mabruka Abubakar Abba (Treasurer, Kano Chapter), and Mr Nura Mudi (Secretary, Kano Chapter).
